New York reflections three

November 11, 2015 by Alain Le Kim

These streets of midtown Manhattan are usually dark. The sun is hidden by the height of the buildings. But… things have changed. Some new constructions are all glass and now you can see some spots of light illuminating in regular patterns the walls of the older buildings. This kind of effect would not even be noticed in a totally modern environment. Everything reflects everything and although it might look amazing, it seems normal. Here you do not need a long lens to crop the dots of light on the old brick wall. The space is so cramped - although big - that a simple normal lens will catch these glimpses of warmth in an otherwise cold looking environment. Reflections are transforming the city.
